The GMM Philosophy

Perhaps the most unusual feature of GMM that distinguishes us from others in the field is the individual creative attention that we give to our clients. It is unknown and unprecedented. Our principal mission is first and foremost to help our clients realize their fullest potential, to be the best that they can be.

We conduct a number of two day sessions each year attended by all new clients. The results are extraordinary, the response to them is heart warming. It helps make our long hours and hard work worthwhile. To know that we are appreciated is gratifying, to say the least.

The first two day session lays the ground for all future work. Our goal is to give each new client an intense and panoramic view of the business in terms of all of the basic elements, concentrating mostly on the on air skills; on understanding all that is necessary to get the most out of ones strengths; the importance of being the best that you can be; setting the highest standards of excellence and achievement; increasing internal political awareness; the need to work hard i.e. work ethic in so many areas; understanding what it means to win; to be part of the team, part of the solution not part of the problem.

In addition to the two day session, we conduct one day group review seminars across the country to review and reinvigorate and re-inspire existing clients. The response to these sessions is also extraordinary.

However the principle part of the creative and career services that we offer is our extensive program of one-on-one sessions conducted either on the telephone, in most instances dozens of times per year, and face to face meetings wherever practical either at one of our offices or at the clients location.

Management is well aware and in general knows that GMM clients are selected with extreme care. They are chosen by GMM after turning away 99% of those who request representation. Management knows that our clients are extremely well-trained, hard working and giving employees and people who give back to the community in many ways. They are all part of a very select and proud family. All clients benefit from the family reputation and the long-standing reputation of this company. It is not often that a GMM client becomes available and when they do, it is considered to be an event. Management knows that they can trust GMM clients completely and that they will have people who are considered part of the solution, not part of the problem. There is an immense amount of time and training that goes into proper attitudinal work and the political process within that small community, the newsroom. Our clients are known for their distinctiveness, talent and very hard work.
