Glenn Zimmerman, reporter at WXYZ/Detroit makes the move to the Big Apple for WNBC/New York as a morning reporter. Glenn started his position in December of 2007.

Leslie Cook extended her agreement with WJLA for another term in December of 2007.

Rob Hoell will continue his agreement with WPIX as Long Island Bureau Reporter for another term starting in January of 2008.

Brad Edwards weekend anchor and investigative reporter for WOOD/Grand Rapids was hired to field anchor WJBK’s new 11 pm show “The Edge” Brad premiered on the debut show in October of 2007.

Betty Liu, anchor/correspondent for CNBC/Hong Kong was hired by Bloomberg Financial to host the 9 am hour in New York. Betty started her position in October of 2007.

Chris Burrous was promoted to the morning show at KOVR in the summer of 2007. His ability to draw large numbers to the KMAX weekend show was the deciding factor making the decision to re-launch Ch. 13’s morning show and move Chris into the lead anchor role.

Jenni Hogan, traffic reporter for KOIN/Portland is hired by KOMO in Seattle to be the traffic anchor and general assignment reporter. Jenni started in July of 2007.

John Marshall extended his term with WNBC as weekend Meteorologist in July of 2008.

Daljit Dhaliwal will be freelance anchoring for ABC News Now, she will continue her duties as an anchor for the United Nations 21st Century and her hosting duties for PBS’s Wide Angle. Daljit begins at ABC in July. Of 07.

Mika Brezezinski CBS correspondent was hired to co-anchor and host “Morning Joe” and contribute regularly as a correspondent for NBC Night News. Mika started at NBC in the summer of 2007.

Howard Nathan is hired by KCNC in Denver as a per diem reporter. Howard began his work with KCNC in July 2007.

Brett Larson, technology reporter for WCBS and CBS station group was hired by WNYW in New York as their first “Green” reporter and technology correspondent. Brett started his duties at Fox New York in May of 2007.

Jeff Glor weekend anchor for WHDH/Boston was hired by CBS Network as a correspondent and fill-in anchor for the early show. Jeff started his duties in March of 2007.

David James extended his term with KUTV as weekend sportscaster in March of 2007 .

Julie Kim WOFL Freelance/Orlando to WTXF/Philadelphia Julie began her reporting in Philadelphia in January of 07.

Eric Braate was named weekend meteorologist for KPRC in Houston and started his duties in January of 2007.

Matt Austin, morning anchor at KIFI in Idaho Falls accepted a weekend anchor position at KOKH in Oklahoma City. Matt will start his duties in January of 2007.

Tera Williams, reporter at WGHP/Greensboro, NC moves to WFLD/Chicago as a lead reporter. Tera stared her duties in December of 2006.

Rick Boone makes the move from KBTV in Beaumont to the main anchor post at KTLA in Shreveport, LA.

Reynolds Wolf joins CNN as a meteorologist from KMOL St. Louis.

Brianna Keilar has been promoted to Correspondent, CNN Washington, D.C. Bureau. Brianna began her duties at CNN in January 2006 as a correspondent for Newsource. Prior to joining CNN, Brianna was an anchor/reporter for MTVu and frequently filled in as anchor for CBS’s “Up to the Minute.

Megan Pringle has accepted a new position at WMAR in Baltimore, MD as a GA Reporter. She is currently a morning anchor/reporter at WSYX in Columbus, OH.

Brian Shields has been promoted to the AM/Noon Meteorologist position at WFTV Orlando just 3 months after arriving as the weekend meteorologist. Brian joined WFTV in August 2006 from WCHS in Charleston, WV where he was the AM/Noon meteorologist.

Shirley Chan has joined WFXT in Boston, MA as a GA reporter. Shirley moved to Boston from Springfield, MA where she was a weekend anchor/reporter for WWLP. Prior to her work in Springfield, Shirley was a producer at The Today Show for a number of years.

Brian Curtis was named 1 of 5 affiliate correspondents to be send to the Summer Olympics in Beijing. This will be the third time Brian has been sent by NBC to cover Olympic Games. His work in Athens and Torino was lauded as some of the best by NBC News Channel and TVSD.

Leslie LaRouche Dodson became a Ted Scripps Fellow in Environmental Journalism: Univ. of Colorado, Boulder in 2007. She was the first TV broadcaster to be awarded this prestigious fellowship to study environmental science.
