From working with authors to turn a seed of an idea into a well-crafted proposal or to revise a novel, selling the book to a publisher, managing subsidiary rights, to assisting the publisher with publicity and promotion, we partner with our authors to help them fully realize their publishing goals.
GMM is actively seeking new literary clients in the following areas: narrative nonfiction for a general trade audience (history, health, business, memoir), food/cooking, and commercial and literary fiction.
All submissions should be accompanied by a self-addressed stamped envelope if you would like your materials returned. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept submissions via e-mail at this time. We can communicate a response by e-mail if that is preferable to an SASE and will recycle unreturned materials.

Please submit a full proposal that includes a sample chapter.

Please send the first 25-30 pages of your manuscript with a one-page cover letter that includes a brief synopsis and information about the author. Note: Novels must be completed to be considered for representation.
