Alfred Geller is CEO of Geller Media Management, Inc. He is an attorney who began practicing law in 1955, working for a Wall Street law firm in the fields of corporate and securities law. He handled among other issues, mergers, acquisitions and reorganizations. Four years later, he opened his own office and quickly developed into one of New York's most prominent attorneys specializing in television, film and theater. He began to function as a representative in the television news and information business in 1964. In 1969 he decided to dissolve his successful law partnership, Geller, Gold, Cuddy and Youngquist and concentrate on the field that he loved so much. Since that time, Geller Media Management, Inc. (GMM) has been exclusively representing television news on-air, production, management clients, and packaging. Mr. Geller is its Chairman of the Board and CEO.

He is a native New Yorker and a 1953 graduate of Brown University. There, he majored in philosophy, was Editor and Business Manager of the Brown Daily Herald and Business Manager of the school literary magazine and the Student Information Handbook. He received his law degree from New York Law School in 1955, where he was a member of the Law Review. In addition, he has completed most of his requirements for a masters degree in business administration, majoring in finance and taxation from New York University Graduate School of Business Administration.
Alfred is married to Sandra Freeman Geller. They divide their time between their homes in New York City, Garrison, New York and the Dominican Republic. They have three children, Todd, Christopher and John, Jr.
